COVID-19 Response

To our community of clients,

We are pleased to let you know that all staff here have been double vaccinated for your safety and follow COVID protocols.

For individuals who do not want to disclose their vaccination status or identify as unvaccinated, or prefer video appointments, we are happy to provide video or phone appointments. We can offer in-person appointments for those individuals who have been double vaccinated.

We are offering in-person appointments, but continue to provide remote counselling sessions. Our office staff are here via phone to answer any questions you may have and to book appointments.

Connect Counselling will be following current health guidelines as follows when accessing in-person services:

Mask guidance

INTERIOR HEALTH BULLETIN – July 28th, 2021

  • “Effective tonight at midnight, Interior Health has placed a regional mandatory mask order for all public indoor spaces in the central Okanagan communities of Peachland, West Kelowna, Westbank First Nation, Kelowna and Lake Country. The order applies to individuals older than 12 years of age.
  • The measures will remain in place for at least 14 days and until the region experiences lower cases and higher vaccination rates.
  • More than 95 per cent of recent cases in the central Okanagan are among people who are not fully immunized against COVID-19. This is an important reminder that immunization is our most effective prevention against COVID-19.”

Until the outbreak in the Central Okanagan is over, we will continue to wear our masks in the office and have clients mask up in the reception area. Clients are free to take off their masks based on the client and counsellors their comfort level once they are in their counselling session.
