To our community of clients,
With the concerns of COVID-19, we are taking steps at Connect Counselling to ensure that all our clients (and us!) continue to have a safe and positive experience. As of yet we are not seeing clients onsite. Our office staff are here via phone to answer any questions you may have and to book appointments. We will keep you updated regarding onsite appointments.
Men’s Drop-In Groups
Our Monday and Wednesday Men’s Groups are now up and running using a virtual platform. If you are wishing to join a group on either evening send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org along with your telephone number and which group you are looking to attend. We will be in touch with you regarding the process to get connected to the group.
Women’s Drop-In Group
Finding Our Voice Drop-In Group: a safe non-judgmental counselling group for women exploring abuse and unhealthy patterns in partner relationships or childhood. Runs Friday mornings from 9:30-11:30 am. To attend please call the office at 250-860-3181 or send us an email at email@example.com
We are providing counselling services via phone and/or secure web-based platforms for appointments. If you are scheduled for an appointment already, we will contact you to check to see if you would prefer a telephone or web-based platform session. We will continue to receive new referrals and are committed to connecting with you at your allotted time.
We will work hard to make this process as smooth as possible and look forward to connecting with you!
If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, please contact the nurse’s hotline at 811 or your primary care provider to arrange for safe testing.
During this time, our primary focus is to continue to provide counselling while heeding the recommendations of BC Health Officials and help to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
Thank-you to everyone who is making the effort to stay safe and keep others safe.
